Why?

After uprooting from Lake Charles, Louisiana, OutNSocial Founders, Angella and Tonie Guajardo (Latina/Black Couple), relocated to Indiana to support professional interests. Upon arrival, months shy of the 2016 election, they realized they were in the wrong place at a very wrong point in time.

The ambient tension of Federal politics magnified the impact of open assaults on local Black, Brown and Queer Folx. However, the uneasiness of the social climate was quelled by knowing that their love was nothing short of revolutionary. Initially, a catchphrase that Tonie made up after coming out, they recognized that OutNSocial could evolve into a community safe space.
